TOP TRUCK member G & C A Lombardo was lucky enough to be selected as third place winners in the branding category at the recent GROUPAUTO international awards.
Based in the market town of March, G & C A Lombardo have been supplying specialist commercial vehicle recovery and repair services to the Cambridgeshire area for 40 years. The family-run business has developed a strong reputation for being professional, efficient, friendly, and reliable.
Notably, G & C A Lombardo also makes frequent appearances on Trucker Tim, a YouTube channel
with 124,000 subscribers and an average viewership exceeding 150,000 views per video.
Shaun Lombardo regularly joins Tim on his Vlogs for repair and recovery outings, truck testing, and more. This provides the workshop with phenomenal exposure among the channel’s enthusiastic truck driver viewer base.

Workshop software
Blue Crystal is the IT software solution designed to help TOP TRUCK network members manage and streamline the running of their workshops in the UK. The network has seen a 40% increase in customer uptake in 2022. Blue Crystal Solutions has supplied fleet maintenance software to the commercial vehicle industry for 15 years, with a range of modules to suit every business. They offer a software suite that is constantly developed to keep up with the changing CV landscape and a technical support team customers can rely on.
The software offers a wide range of automated solutions to help save workshops time and money. Some of the functions available through the Workshop Pro solution are: vehicle maintenance date tracking, a full job card system, defect management, a purchase order system, parts and stock management, and inspection approval.
Blue Crystal also offers an Android tablet-based app for technicians called RFM Go. By using this service, one can save time and effort by typing up tasks on-the-job. Some of the functions include digital job cards, inspection sheets, stock allocation, image capture, and timed jobs. This will help to ensure workshops keep on track with jobs and identify early on if work needs to be shuffled due to unexpected delays.

NAPA Racing UK Joins BTRC 2023
NAPA Racing UK has reunited with Paul Rivett for a super-sized season in the British Truck Racing Championship 2023. From rookies to BTCC Team Champions, NAPA Racing UK had a phenomenal debut year in motorsport in 2022. This included a one-off Truck Racing appearance at the Convoy in the Park Festival, bringing NAPA Racing and NAPA Truck together for a thrilling summer event.
NAPA Racing UK is invested in building that partnership even further in 2023. The team has secured a place in Division 2 of the British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC), with four-time Renault Clio Cup UK Champion Paul Rivett jumping back into the driver’s seat for an action-packed season.
The BTRC is “a championship like no other”, with an annual spectatorship of 300,000. The competing trucks weigh in at over five tonnes and produce in excess of 1000bhp, delivering heart-stopping performances throughout the season.
Best known for his four incredible victories in the Renault Clio Cup UK, Rivett has been racing since the late 1980s. In 2019, he finished third in the BTRC and claimed the most pole positions overall. NAPA Racing UK and Rivett first teamed up at Donington Park for the Convoy in the Park Festival 2022. They reunite this year for a full season with the iconic NAPA-liveried MAN TGS, kicking off on 8th-9th April at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.
