The most produced vehicle in the world in 2022 was the Ford F-Series (880,232 units). The Toyota RAV4, which held the top spot in 2021, is second (863,782 units), and only 16,450 units separate the two models. The Toyota Corolla (844,693 units) is in third position, which demonstrates the strong presence of the Japanese brand in the Top 20 in 2022. Toyota is the world's leading manufacturer. In fourth place, Tesla places its 100% electric Model Y (706,665 units), doubling its volume compared to 2021. This means that the fourth most produced model in the world is electric. The Toyota Hilux pickup (686,377 units) is fifth, ahead for the first time, but narrowly, of the Ram pickups (679,335 units) and Chevrolet Silverado (640,873 units). The Toyota Camry (648,262 units) comes between the two, in seventh position; it is the brand's fourth model present in the Top 20. In ninth position, the Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV (571,869 units) is the second most produced 100% electric model in 2022 and is ahead of the Honda CRV (560,612 units), in tenth position.
